REGENT THEATRE

DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. “The Confessions of Boston Blackie” and “Smart Alecks” will be finally shown tonight, the programme being an excellent one. “YOU WERE NEVER LOVELIER.” Rita Hayworth’s loveliness, Fred Astaire’s dancing and Jerome Kerns music provide everything to be desired in the way of popular entertainment in “You Were Never Lovelier,” which will be shown tomorrow night. It is a picture that is well worth seeing. The music is excellent and the dancing outstanding. The music is provided by Xavier Cugat and his orchestra. “Chin Chin,” which is sung in the course of the picture, is one of the great hits of the year. Patrons are advised to book early for this picture.
