HOCKEY
LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. SEASON TO OPEN TOMORROW. 1 The Wairarapa Ladies’ Hockey Association Association will open the season tomorrow when some excellent games should be witnessed, as players have been in hard training. The teams appear to be evenly matched and, consequently, the interest should be keen. The local games are: Excelsior seniors v Kia Ora seniors, at Lansdowne; College seniors v Carterton B seniors at the College ground; College A juniors v Excelsior juniors at Lansdowne, and Carterton v College B at Lansdowne. The Grey town and Carter ton seniors will meet at Greytown.
