DECLARED TASHI LAMA

The Chungking correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says the Chinese Press reports that a five-year-old boy living in Linhwa, Sinkiang Province, China, has been declared to be the true reincarnation of the Tashi Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, who died on November 30, 1937. Leaders of the Lamaist cult have gathered at Linhwa for the enthronement of the new pontiff.
