MR J. M. ANDREWS RESIGNS PREMIERSHIP. SIR B. BROOKE LIKELY TO FORM NEW GOVERNMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, April 29. Mr J. M. Andrews, who had been Prime Minister of Northern Ireland since December, 1940, has resigned. It is understood that Sir Basil Brooke, Deputy-Prime Minister, who is a nephew of Sir Alan Brooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, will be asked to form a new Government.
