Andrews, who had been Prime Minister of Northern Ireland since December, 1940, has resigned. It is understood that Sir Basil Brooke, Deputy-Prime Minister, who is a nephew of Sir Alan Brooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, will be asked to form a new Government.
