HALIFAX BEATS OFF ATTACK BY JUNKERS 88’S. HITS SCORED ON THREE ENEMY PLANES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) RUGBY, April 29. A Halifax of the Coastal Command, on patrol over the Bay of Biscay yesterday was attacked by Seven Junkers 88s. During a combat lasting for 45 minutes the Halifax scored hits on three Junkers before the enemy broke off the fight.
