Sympathy was extended to two sick members, Mesdames Tully and Linton. Mrs Beu expressed satisfaction at the success of the Anzac Day luncheon. She thanked Mrs Bayliss for again making the wreath. Several letters of thanks were received from soldiers for gifts from the Division.

During the meeting khaki wool was distributed to members to be knitted up for members of the forces. Mrs Beu read her very comprehensive report covering all the activities of the Division during the year. It was reported that the membership stood at 105, all members being financial. Mrs W. J. Knell complimented Mrs Beu on her work for the Division; also for her splendid report. Miss Eager (treasurer), produced a very satisfactory balance sheet. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mrs R. Beu (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Mesdames Orr, A. Johnson, D. Ingley and Miss Tate; secretary, Mrs W. The meeting voted in favour of holding the annual conference this year. Donations of tea from Mrs J. Feast and tea and sugar- from Mrs Svenson were much appreciated. It was decided to hold a shop day on May 7. As this will be the only effort of the branch during the year to raise funds, any assistance would be much appreciated. The hostesses were Mesdames Ward, Balfour, Bayliss and Svenson. Personal Items. Miss D. Tully has returned to Waipawa, after having spent a few days with her mother, Mrs Tully Senr., Main Street. Mr and Mrs H. Edmondson, of Kilbirnie, who were the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Reid, McMaster Street, have returned home. TOWN HALL DOUBLE PROGRAMME. Tonight there will be two big attractions.
