GERMANS MASSING
IN SOUTHEASTERN FRANCE IMPORTANT TROOP MOVEMENT. SWISS BORDER RIGIDLY SEALED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 27. Reports from Switzerland and Spain refer to important German troop movements in south-eastern France, and also to the presence of unnamed high German officials.
The Germans rigidly sealed the Franco-Swiss border today in order to screen the military movements, and even the holders of special passes are having difficulty in recrossing the frontier.
