ON BARI AERODROME.

ENEMY SHIP SET ON FIRE NEAR RHODES.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) RUGBY, April 28.

A Middle East air communique says: “Following upon a daylight raid by American heavy bombers on the aerodrome at Bari, R.A.F. heavy bombers carried out another attack on Bari on Monday night. Several large fires were started.

“Long-range fighters attacked a small enemy vessel near Rhodes yesterday. The crew abandoned the ship, which was last seen burning, with a heavy list. From these and other operations one of our aircraft is missing.”
