COUNTY AFFAIRS
MEETING OF FEATHERSTON COUNCIL YEAR’S ESTIMATES CONSIDERED. TENDERS FOR METALLING. (“Times-Age” Special.) A special meeting of the Featherston County Council was held at Martinborough yesterday when the estimates were considered for the coming financial year. The riding estimate; were approved and main highway and general estimates are to be considered at a future meeting. It was decided to call tenders for the metalling of riding and main highway roads en bloc.
