FEATHERSTON
RED CROSS SOCIETY CARD PARTY YESTERDAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) An enjoyable time was spent at euchre in the Red Cross Society’s rooms yesterday afternoon, the tournament being won by Mrs Kinsey. Competitions were won by Mrs Lonie and Mrs Kinsey. Donations were received from Mesdames Palliser and Sharp. Personal Items, Mrs and Miss Dunne, Mr and Mrs Miles, Mr and Mrs Dunn, Mrs and Miss Frederickson and Miss Gibson, all of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. Mrs Bull, Mrs Morse, Miss Shirley and Miss Sullivan, have returned to Levin after having bepn the guests of Mrs Sullivan, Kahutara Road.
COSY THEATRE “H. M. PULHAM, ESQ.”
The dramatic masterpiece, “H. M. Pulham, Esquire,” will be shown tonight, the leading parts being taken by Robert Young, Hedy Lamarr and Ruth Hussey
