MAJOR C. SKINNER, M.C. SPEECH-MAKING TOUR IN BRITAIN. (Special P.A. Correspondent.) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, April 27. Major C. Skinner, M.C., recently appointed New Zealand Minister of Lands, in addition to speaking at Leeds and Manchester, has given several broadcasts, including one to America, in which he praised American equipment and workers. He has a full programme of speechmaking until the runiddle of July. He will address audiences at Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Nottingham, also in Scotland !<iand Wales. Major Skinner was recently the guest of the Empire Parliamentary Association.
