FOOD CONFERENCE
MR R. K. LAW TO HEAD BRITISH DELEGATION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 26. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr R. K. Law, has been appointed head of the British delegation to the Foodstuffs Conference at Hot Springs, United States, on May 18. The conference will concern itself with problems which will follow the immediate post-war relief period. The object of the conference is to ascertain first, the productive capacity in food and other essential agricultural products of the many nations represented, and secondly, the consumption needs of those countries. It will then relate the two factors.
