OBITUARY

MR L. H. SPACKMAN. The death occurred suddenly this morning at his residence, 80 Dixon Street, Masterton, of Mr Louis Henry Spackman, a well known resident of the town. He had been in ill-health for some years. The late Mr Spackman was born in Masterton 57 years ago and had resided here all his life. He had been a member of the Druids’ Lodge since 1905 and was also associated with the Church of England Men’s Society and the Masterton Indoor Bowling Club. The funeral will take place on Friday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
