OBITUARY
THE DUKE OF CONNAUGHT. (By ’telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) OTTAWA, April 26. The death occurred suddenly of the Duke of Connaught at Government House, where he had been the guest of the Earl and Countess of Athlone for several months.
Prince Arthur William Patrick Albert, Duke of Connaught, great-uncle of his Majesty King George VI., was born on May 1, 1850. The Duke of Connaught married in 1879 Princess Louise, who died in 1917. The Duke is survived by one daughter, Princess Victoria Patricia (Lady Patricia Ramsay).
