THEFT OF BENZINE

ACCUSED PLEADS GUILTY. James Herbert Knipe appeared before Messrs E. G. Eton and L. J. Taylor, J’s.P., in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court this morning on a charge of theft, at Mauriceville on April 18, of 20 gallons of benzine, valued at £2 12s Id, the property of C. E. Daniell, Ltd. The .accused, who elected to be dealt with summarily, pleaded guilty and was remanded until next Thursday. Bail of £lOO was dllowed. Constable A. W. Nalder appeared for the police.
