PICTURE THEATRES.
Entertainment Guide. FEATHERSTON. COSY. —Tonight at 8 o’clock: Two big features. Ralph Bellamy, Margaret Lindsay, Charley Grapewin, in ‘Ellery Queen and the Murder Ring.” It’s the season’s thrill show. Three must die before Ellery solves the mystery. Associate attraction, “Blonde from Singapore,” as up-to-date as tomorrow’s headlines, with Florence Rice, Leif Erikson. (Both Pictures Recommended by Censor for Adults.) GREYTOWN. TOWN HALL.—Tomorrow Night Two first run features. “Sweetheart of the Fleet,” with Joan Davis, Jinx Falkenburg. It’s a mad, merry round-about of snappy melody and fun. Second feature, Charles Starrett, Russell Hayden in “Down Rio Grande Way.” Blazing thrills, _ gunflaming action. Double fist-flinging excitement. (Both Features Approved Universal Exhibition.) CARTERTON. REGENT.—Tonight: The year’s happiest and most appealing picture, “The Vanishing Virginian,” with Frank Morgan, Kathryn Grayson, Spring Byington. Occasionally there comes to the screen a story so unusually delightful, so hard to classify by customary terms that even superlatives give no hint of its merit. (Approved Universal Exhibition.)
