REGISTERED NURSES

WAIRARAPA BRANCH. AN INTERESTING ADDRESS. A meeting of the Wairarapa Branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association was held in the Nurses’ Home at the Masterton Hospital on Monday night. Miss H. Grant presided over a large attendance. Dr. King, US.M.C., addressed the meeting and spoke on a wide range cf subjects. He referred to the Naval Medical Service and the training of its personnel, aerial transport of wounded, research work as far as malaria was concerned, and closed his remarks with details of some of the modern equipment used in the large country hospitals in the United States. Dr. King’s talk was much appreciated, and he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. Supper was served at the close of the meeting.
