STATE THEATRE
"IN OLD CHICAGO.” Tonight there will be presented one of the best pictures of its kind ever brought to the screen, “In Old Chicago.” It is a dramatic offering of such excellence that it at once makes an appeal to patrons, and especially to American servicemen. There is plenty of scope for good acting, and those concerned rise to the occasion by giving audiences the highest possible achievement in this connection. There are many outstanding scenes, and the story is one of exceptional interest and cleverly conceived. The attention of the audience is held securely throughout the picture —it could not be otherwise when every opportunity has been taken for providing the best for the amusement and entertainment of picture patrons. “SON OF FURY.” LATE SESSION ON THURSDAY. A late session of “Son of Fury” will be held on Thursday night, commencing approximately at 10 o’clock. The ordinary programme showing, “In Old Chicago,” will start at 7.45 o’clock sharp.
