Great Skoda Armament Works Blasted

POWERFUL AND DAMAGING ATTACKS ON GERMANY AND ITALY AMERICANS STRIKE AT BREMEN IN DAYLIGHT RUGBY, April 17. The ever-mounting Allied air offensive against Axis Europe reached a new pitch of intensity in the last 24 hours with widespread and heavy bombing raids on numerous targets, which included the Skoda armament works at Pilsen, in Bohemia, Mannheim and Bremen, in western Germany, Koenigsberg and Danzig, in the north-east, Palermo, in Sicily, and Naples, Italy. Though they were not made without substantial losses, these attacks inflicted major damage on the enemy’s armament potential and his transport system.
