The Admiralty states that last night light coastal forces under LieutenantCommander. Peter Markham Scott engaged three armed enemy trawlers about 20 miles off the coast west of Le Havre. Fire was concentrated on the rear ship of the enemy line. Many hits were scored and although she was not seen to sink, she was left stopped, silenced and burning. All our ships returned safely. They suffered casualties—one man killed and ' four wounded.
