4 PRAISED BY MR CHURCHILL. DEFENCE MINISTER ENTERTAINED (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, April 16. Mr Churchill expressed the highest praise for the New Zealand Division, when he gave a lunch for Mr Jones (New Zealand Minister oi Defence) at No. 10 Downing Street. The British Prime Minister recalled his pleasure at meeting the New Zealanders in Tripoli. Others present at the luncheon included Mrs Churchill, the Duchess of Buccleuch and Colonel Reitz (South African High Commissioner) . Mr Jones last night spent two hours at an ordnance factory with Mr Duncan Sandys, M.P. He was told that only ten per cent of the workers were skilled and that 50 per cent of the staff were women and girls, of whom 75 per cent were married. They worked an eleven-hour day. This morning Mr Jones visited Woolwich, where he saw guns being made for New Zealand.
