REGARDING SOUTHWEST PACIFIC GIVEN BY UNITED STATES WAR SECRETARY. STEADY AND INCREASING FLOW OF PLANES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, April 15. The United States Secretary for War (Mr Stimson), according to a Washington message, said the SouthWest Pacific would receive ample aeroplanes to replace all losses and to build up the air forces there sufficiently to couniter the Japanese. He added: “We will keep the needs of the South-West Pacific constantly in mind and there will be a steady and increasing flow of military supplies, particularly aircraft, to that theatre.
