OBITUARY

MISS ANNIE GRAY. The death occurred suddenly this morning of Miss Annie Gray, a wellknown resident of the Masterton district. The late Miss Gray, who was the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Farquhar Gray, was born in Masterton in 1866. Her parents were pioneer settlers of the Wairarapa district. She took a keen interest in the Navy League and was a vice-president of the Masterton Ladies' Auxiliary for a number of years. She is survived by three brother, Messrs R. and F. Gray (Fairburn), and J. Gray; and three sisters. Mrs F. B. Lowes (Rongomai), and Misses D. and C. Gray, East Taratahi.
