COURSING
<s WAIRARAPA CLUB. SUCCESSFUL CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. At a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Coursing Club last evening it was reported that the Wairarapa championships held last weekend had been very successful, _ both from a racing and financial point of view. As the coursing season is due to open on May 9 it was decided to continue with the working bee on Sunday next at the Akura Plumpton. The Wellington Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting to be held at Masterton will in all probability take place early in October, providing this date is suitable.
