Flying Officer E. Grant, Gisborne, played with great dash for Scotland in a Rugby match against England, but had few chances, a Press Association correspondent in London reports. England won 24-19. It was commented that his centre should have made more use of him, but Grant, after a promising beginning, seldom received the ball. He is undoubtedly the most outstanding New Zealand Rugby player in England this season.
