THE Annual Poppy Day Appeal by the i Wairarapa Returned Services’ Association will be held on FRIDAY of this week. In Masterton, the Mayoress (Mrs T. Jordan) has set up a committee of ladies to conduct a house-to-house canvass, and two depots will be established in Queen Street. In Carterton, Grey town, Featherston and Martinborough, ladies’*committees have also undertaken the sales. Last year the Association dispensed £3lO in relief of ex-servicemen of the , last war, and the funds raised this year 'will be used for a similar purpose. W.F.C.A.
