GARDEN PARTY

KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION GATHERING. The Masterton Free Kindergarten Association’s garden party, which was postponed last Saturday on account of wet weather, was held in overcast weather this afternoon at “Kingswell,” in Renall Street. There was a large attendance of the public who inspected the beautiful gardens and surroundings. The gathering was officially opened by Mr. J. Robertson, M.P., who was accompanied by Mrs. Robertson. A variety of stalls were well patronised and a programme of music was rendered by a Marine Corps Band. The grounds were made available by courtesy of Mrs. J. G. Wingate.
