NEW ZEALAND BRIGADIERS MILES & HARDEST AFTER ESCAPE FROM ITALY. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, April 6. British foreign office representatives at Berne have confirmed that Brigadiers Miles and Hargest have arrived there. It was reported recently that Brigadiers Miles and Hargest had escaped to Switzerland from Italy, where they were prisoners of war.
