STATE THEATRE

DOUBLE PROGRAMME. The State Theatre is noted for the excellent double-feature programmes presented during the mid-week and the bill-of-fare to be shown tonight is no exception. No effort or expense has been spared to provide the public with good wholesome entertainment. Tomorrow night the programme will be headed by “Riders of Black River” and “The Wild Cat of Tucson,” two splendidly-acted ana excellent dramas of outdoor life containing all the essentials which discerning patrons appreciate. There are many thrilling situations in the pictures with a dash of comedy and the interest never lags In “Riders of Black River,” the leading role is taken by Charles Starrett, while in “The Wild Cat of Tucson” the chief character is portrayed by Bill Elliott. The supporting programme is a good one. _____
