TENNIS FALKNER CUP COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) A start was made on Sunday last in the Falkner Cup competition when good tennis was witnessed. Personal Items. lan Crosland, who fell and broke his arm in two places and has been an inmate of the Masterton Hospital, is now making good progress towards recovery. Mr Harlan Moffat, of the U.S.M.C., is spending a few days with Mr Falkner, of Pinelands. Messrs J. C. McAnulty and O. Welch, have returned home from Dannevirke. Mr A. D. Hansen is visiting Dannevirke. , Miss Jean Dick is to be entertained at a social gathering prior to her departure to take up work at a private hospital in Pahiatua.
