The death has occurred in Paris of M. Alexandre Millerand, aged 84. He was Minister of War from August, 1914, until the Cabint resigned in the following year. Mr Millerand became Prime Minister of France in January, 1920, and in September of the same year was elected President, a position he held till 1924. From that date till recently he was a member of the Senate.
