WOMAN SENT TO TRIAL. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A plea of not guilty was entered in the Magistrate’s Court by Mary Ann Wearne, aged 61, a domestic, chaiged with having unlawfully used an instrument on a fifteen-year-old girl with intent to procure a miscarriage. After having heard the evidence the Magistrate (Mr J. L. Stout) committed the accused for trial at the May sessions of the Wellington Supreme Couit. Bail was granted.
