The British Air Ministry has agreed to make Australian squadrons in Brittain fully Australian in fact as well as in name. Subject to operational exigencies, it will concentrate Australians in complete air crews and squadrons as soon as possible. « The Air Ministry’s decision follows on representations by the Australian Minister for Air, Mr. Drakeford. Hitherto some .“Australian” squadrons in Britain have been composed of airmen from all parts of the Empire, with many Australians serving in R.A.F. squadrons.
