CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. At 7 p.m. a memorial service to Canon J. H. Sykes will be held. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both m the morning and evening. Tfie Rev. I. C. Edwards will conduct the service at K-uri-puni at 7 p.m. The service at Taueru will be at 2.30 p.m. The services at the Baptist Church tomorrow will be held at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. In the evening there will be the usual supper and “sing song” which has become so popular with service men. and visitors. At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow farewell services Will be conducted by Mr F. H. Parker. At the morning service the Girl Guides and Girls’ Life Brigade will parade and the subject will be “The Eternal Presence.” The service will be followed by the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper In the evening the subject will be “Sowing and Reaping.” This service will be followed by a social gathering for men of the services. Divine service will be conducted at Wangaehu at 2 p.m. by Mr F. H. Parker. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow evening the service will be conducted by Mr W. E. Teboon. . Salvation Army meetings will be held m Masterton on Sunday at 11 a.m., 2.15 p.m. and 7 p.m;
