LATE RATES MAINTAINED
AT CARTERTON STOCK SALE. WEANER PIGS HARD TO QUIT. Messrs Wright Stephenson and 'Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Carterton sale yesterday:—A good yarding of sheep, cattle and pigs came forward. Prices were on a par with late rates, with the exception of weaner pigs which were very hard to quit. The following are some of the realisations:— Sheep: Fat wethers, 22s 6d, 23s 6d, 245, 25s 3d to 26s 7d; fat and forward wethers, 18s to 19s Gd; fat lambs, 21s to 22s 4d; fat maiden P.B.
