(Both . pictures approved universale exhibition) . CARTERTON. REGENT.—Tonight: Two full-length features: “Cash and Carry,” M.G.M.’s latest laugh and thrill romance. It’s man-wise Maisie’s best adventure and it means a knock-out for laughs, with Ann Sothern, George Murphy, Virginia O’Brien. Associate feature, “Playmates,” with Kay Kyser and his Orchestra, Patsy Kelly, Ginny Simms, Lupe Velez, May Robson. “Playmates” is a frolicsome fanfare of fun, songs, music, laughs. Imagine Shakespeare in swing as a comedy theme. Both approved universal exhibition.
