■ ENJOYABLE DANCE SOLDIER HONOURED. (“Times-Age’’ Special.) A most enjoyable time was spent in the local hall on Monday evening, the occasion being a dance given in honour of Private F. McKinstry. There was a representative gathering of residents besides visitors from other districts. When making a presentation to Private McKinstry. Mr F. Read wished him the best of luck and handed him a substantial cheque. Private McKinstry suitably replied. Supper was served by the ladies. The music for the dancing was supplied by Mesdames McGregor and Bannister and Messrs R. McKinstry and B. F. Schofield. Mr M. D. McGregor was an efficient M.C.
