The Premier, Mr. Falul Huq, . announced his resignation at, a’ meeting of the Bengal Assembly. A Bntisn group sponsored a motion of censure against what was described as the Government’s failure to with blac.v markets, speculation and the hoarding of food. The motion was narrowly lost, but the Ministry then announced that they had resigned. Mr. Huq disclosed that the resignation was prompted by the Governor of Benga. during a talk in which the formation of a National Cabinet and various other proposals were discussed, and said he could not accept some of the proposals consistently with self-respect.
