STAFF FAREWELL

GATHERING AT “TIMES-AGE.” Miss June Staniforth, of the office staff of the “Wairarapa Times-Age” will enter camp tomorrow as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. At a gathering at the “TimesAge” office this morning opportunity ■was taken by the general manager, Mr D. M. Graham, to make presentations to Miss Staniforth cn behalf of the management and the staff. Mr Graham expressed the regret of members of the staff that Miss Staniforth was leaving and said that he hoped it would only be a case of “au revoir.” He spoke of Miss Staniforth’s capabilities and of the high esteem in.. which she was held and wished her a successful future. Miss M. Diggins (secretary) endorsed Mr Graham’s remarks. Miss Staniforth suitably acknow- „ ledged the presentations.
