, MASTERTON CLUB CHAMPION SINGLES. NOTES BY “THE BOWLER.” Two interesting games were played yesterday afternoon in the semi-finals of the champion singles. G. Beecroft beat J. Campbell, and W. Davies beat W. Reid. The final will be played between Beecroft and Davis. This should be a most interesting game as Beecroft has been playing good bowls, and Davies, this season, is the most improved played in the club. VETERAN BADGES. A challenge match for the Veteran Badges will be played on the Masterton Club’s green tomorrow afternoon between the holders, . the Masterton Club, and the challengers, the Park Club.
