There was a large attendance with fine weather for the Bay of Plenty Racing Club s meeting. The totalisator handled £45,251, compared with £33,970 10s in 1941, an increase of £11,320. Second division: 2/3, All Glory, 8.6 (Cameron), 1; 7/6, Banchory, 8.4, 2; 3/2, Abbey King, 8.9, 3. „ First Jack Tanner Memorial, five furlongs: 2/1, Olga’s Pal, 9.5 (Cameron), 1: 1/2, Great Draw, 8.5, 2; 2/3. Laddie Boy, 8.2, 3. Handicap Hurdle Race, one mile and threequarters: 4/3, Stock Exchange, 9.0 (Coon), 1, 2/1, Kaspian, 10.0, 2; 3/4, Ginno, 10.2, 3.
