CHIMNEY REPAIRS
CLAIMS FOR TOTAL REMISSION. Residents unable to pay earthquake repair accounts in respect to chimneys, owing to hardship, are notified that they should make application for remission on the prescribed Treasury form. On these forms the full financial position of the applicant is to be set out. This applies only to accounts rendered through the Masterton Borough Council and the Masterton, Mauriceville and Castlepoint County councils. The required forms are obtainable at the offices of these local bodies. All applications will be examined by the committee set up for the purpose and recommendations made to Treasury.
