ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
SUCCESSFUL DANCE. The St. John Ambulance Brigade held a successful dance in the Masonic Hall on Saturday night, when there was a large attendance. The music was supplied by Mr Jack Barnes’s Orchestra. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mr C. S. McQuade, Cadet Superintendent. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Oliver and Mr O’Brien and the lucky spot foxtrot by Mrs Robbins and Sgt. Perry, of the U.S. Marines. Extras were played by Miss L. Hopkins and Mr R. Mita. A competition conducted during the evening was won by Mr T. Whittaker. Mr McQuade announced that the next dance would be held on April 17.
