INTERHOUSE DANCE

PRESENTATION OF SWIMMING CUP.

The dance held by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association in the Masonic Hall last night attracted a large attendance of the public, including a good representation of overseas servicemen. Mr J. Bruce was the M C. and Mrs Ashton’s Orchestra played excellent dance music. Mr B. Parsons contributed extras. The winners of the Monte Carlo competition were Mrs Goodin and Corporal W. Moran, U.S.M.C. On behalf of the association, Driver R. Costello. late secretary, presented the Swimming Championship Cup to Miss M. Pauling, the captain of Hugo and Shearer’s team, the winners of the championship.
