BOMBS WELCOMED

NORWEGIAN POINT OF VIEW. In a recent 8.8. C. broadcast in Norwegian the text of a letter sent by a young girl in Norway was broadcast. Describing conditions in her country, she said: “The reason why I like to stay here, in spite of lack of food and everything, is the marvellous way we keep together and don’t give in to the Germans, even if it costs us everything. It is worth living just to see that alone. I know, for I have had two years of it. We are very happy when English bombers visit us. Then we feel we are not forgotten.”
