MASTERTON STOCK SALE
PRICES FOR FAT SHEEP. ON LEVEL WITH LAST WEEK. Prices were on a level with last week’s rates for fat sheep at the Masterton stock sale today. Bidding was brisk from a large bench of buyers. At time of going to press all the fats had been sold, and a start was being made on the store sheep. Prices for fats were: Wethers, 245, 255; light, 23s ;Southdown ewes, 13s Id; w.f. lambs, 20s; b.f. lambs, 19s Id.
