DEFIED BY AMERICAN BOMBERS IN THIRD DAYLIGHT ATTACK ON WILHELMSHAVEN. GOOD RESULTS REPORTED. LONDON, March 22. American Flying Fortresses and Liberators fought their way past many German fighters today to make their third raid on the German naval base of Wilhelmshaven. The weather was excellent and good results were reported. .... On the way back the American planes had many more clashes with German fighters. It is not yet known how many enemy planes were brought down, but only three of the American bombers did not get back.
