Sir Allan Powell, chairman of the 8.8. C., made this forecast at the British Association’s “Science and the Citizen” conference in London. He anticipates that after the war cinemas may televise actual events. Another contingent of Canadians has arrived in Britain, comprising infantry, armoured corps, artillery, engineers, medical, signals, and service corps personnel, and also naval and air force reinforcements.
