TRAINS IN FRANCE
AND VIADUCT IN BRITTANY LINKING U-BOAT BASES. ATTACKED EFFECTIVELY BY ALLIED PLANES. LONDON, March 21. A .small force of Ii.A.F. Whirlwinds attacked a railway viaduct in Brittany, linking up the U-boat bases there. Several hits were reported and Ihe viaduct was seen to be on tire. Fourteen goods trains in various parts of France were also attacked and eight were left in a severely damaged condition. All the planes returned.
