CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, tomorrow at 8 a.m. and at Taueru at 9.45 a.m. The Rev. H. Taepa will preach at St. Matthew’s at 11 a.m. and Archdeacon Rich at 7 p.m. The Rev. I. C. Edwards will conduct afternoon services at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga and at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. At the Baptist Church tomorrow a special feature of the morning service will be the induction of the deacons. Lieutenant Jeakins,. of the American Marine Divisions, will give the address. The usual social gathering, which has become very popular, will follow the evening service. Both services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr F H Parker. The subject in the morning will be “The Calling of Nathanel,” and m the evening “Our Testimony.’’ Divine service at Mt. Bruce at 2 p.m. will be conducted by Mr F. H. Parker. The choir will hold a choral service at the public hospital at 3p m At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow evening the services will be conducted bv the Young Men’s Mission Band.
